For me, Warbled Demos for Lone Dreamers stands out (even among Koen Park's other great releases) as both a uniquely structured album and one of the more energetic. An excellent finale, "For Lone Dreamers," closes down 44 minutes of well-textured, high-energy soundscapes with something approaching industrial synth, leaving the listener on a toe-tapping if wistful note. A rare album that's both introspective and invigorating.
Favorite track: Parts Of Society.
'Warbled Demos For Lone Dreamers' was originally released on Best Kept Secret in 2008 in an edition of 100 cassettes. Best Kept Secret was a superb little cassette label that has long since closed its doors. It was responsible for some amazing releases, many of which have since been re-issued on various other labels and become classics in their own right. I was really lucky to have been invited very early on to release three albums under monikers I was using at the time: Koen Park, Oh No Nuno!, and Apocomeno.
The original release was mixed straight from my faithful four-track back then in all its noisy glory, and was transferred in the exact same way for this release.
The track 'For Lone Dreamers' features vocal sharing duties with Katherine Morrice.

Let's put it this way- this is simply one of our favourite works ever!...A collection of variations on a theme that drift by, perfuming the air, or that stop a moment to whisper you a story. Evocative in its sparse beauty, We are sure this will been the permanent playlist always, right alongside Arvo Part's "Alina" and offthesky's "Silent went the Sea" ....ss/tm/am editions vaché
