Made many moons ago in Italy, Japan and the UK. Oh No Nuno! was a really fun project to merge different styles and just thrash about on instruments. I never really followed up on the Oh No Nuno! moniker after almost signing to a really great label then just not feeling like making music for a bit with the changes requested. One of those things really and after Koen Park and my ambient music took off I kind of forgot about it but it still remains some of my favourite, most fun music by far.

This album was dedicated to tape in my mum's garage many many years ago using all sorts of instruments on a dusty old 8 track tape recorder. It is dirty, grimey but filled with beautiful experimentalism, fun and lots of melody. It was tidied up a bit in places when I moved to Tokyo (an apartment with a bed and music equipment everywhere - much to my neighbours' annoyance) and all my Oh No Nuno! work became a staple music diet for many close friends which has always meant a lot, even to this day.

I wish I knew how to use samplers as it would have been way easier, but no - that's all live machines and looping pedals I'm playing in a haphazard way. Rough but really fun times. :)
