On the 15th of May 2010, I took part in a little Japan tour between Home Normal and Flau Records. We performed one of the Tokyo nights at the wonderful Vacant venue in the backstreets of Harajuku. The evening saw performances by my good friends Andrew Hargreaves (The Boats), Danny Norbury, Radiosonde, and with Osamu Matsumoto from Linus Records on the decks.
For this set I decided to bring out a handful of percussion, a guitalele, accordion, and a few other bits and bobs, live looping and editing them in Audiomulch. What came out was a 35 minute weird folksy workout I just absolutely love, and this became my set-up for a bunch of live shows for the next few years as a result.
Here we have the direct recording from the desk that night as one whole track.
Huge love, respect and thanks go to Yasuhiko and the whole Flau crew for their awesome live tours and events.
